What has your career path been at Canon?
I started my Canon career in one of Canon UK’s sales offices in a customer service role, from there I moved to Canon UK’s head office for a central administration and finance role where I worked developing policies and procedures. I then moved into Marketing to undertake the role of Purchasing Manager. After a few years I transferred to the Canon Europe’s strategic headquarters to work in a Marketing executive role, and now I have taken on the management responsibilities of the Office Hardware business area in Canon Europe.
Why have you enjoyed working for Canon?
I have four key drivers that motivate me in my work. These being, lead by example, be self-aware; to be aware of your strengths and weaknesses, the third is to always seek to learn and grow and the fourth and my main personal goal and drive is to go beyond the goals that have been set for me.
Canon has been an excellent organisation for fulfilling these goals and I have been offered exciting challenges and something new to learn all the time.
