Counterfeit ink cartridges may cause problems such as: - Ink leaks
- Blocked print heads
- Erratic printer performance
- A poor fit with the printer
- Colour aberrations
- Colour streaking.
In the worst case, the printer may be seriously damaged.
Use of genuine Canon accessories and consumables is recommended. Please note that your Canon product warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by counterfeit products (i.e. fake products) or other non-genuine Canon products, such as accessories, spare parts, software or consumables. Canon may therefore
refuse to repair damages or defects caused by the use of such counterfeit or non-genuine Canon products, although you may request such repairs on a chargeable basis. For excellent print quality, we recommend using genuine Canon products.
