10 places are available for participants nominated by the industry, regardless of where they are in their education journey.
Although the programme is open to anyone in the EMEA regions, participants will need adequate proficiency in English to take part.
Your portfolio can contain up to 20 images from one story, plus a description of your project, image captions and a personal bio.
Your portfolio should be within the genre of narrative photography and communicate societal or other contemporary issues.
The entry deadline is 29 April 2022. 100 participants will be accepted onto CSDP and notified by 16 May 2022. ID is required for entry.

Students will receive three sessions from June to July with a professional mentor, who will offer support in refining their portfolio.

5 students will be granted an exclusive place at the second edition of the Hamburg Portfolio Review from 16 to 18 September.
Students will showcase their work in portfolio reviews, be featured in an exhibition and have meetings with international picture editors.
The final 5 receive a 6-month mentorship, up to €9K worth of Canon kit & a €2K grant, helping them take the next step to turning pro.
